Ulysses S. Grant
"I know only two tunes: one of them is "Yankee Doodle," and the other isn't."
I wanted to make him look like he is really drunk and barely able to open his eyes to look at you.
Personally I don't think I got it too well, but it's time to move on.
Done as a companion piece to Sophie's AWESOME General Lee

Okay, im never gonna get this thing done, so I may as well just post it.
The main reason for this was just an excuse to use real inks again. So I decided to make a piece of my favourite Marvel characters. Man, I'd wish there was a new team book with these guys, written by brubaker. Best book in the world, that'd be.

doom
So during the same conversation that I mentioned in the last post, I began wondering how I would redesign one of the greatest villains over at Marvel.
(we were talking about comic villains if you haven't noticed)
Doom as a character is singlehandedly one of my favourite villains, because at his core he is so not a villain.
Like magneto, he is a man doing what he thinks is what is for the greater good for himself and his country, his methods can just be villainous and often times ruthless.
At his heart, he is a man that can ally with you, as long as your needs are aligned.
Doom has some of the single most iconic design elements of all comic characters, so I really wanted to keep it.
I just hate the medieval armour look to him, cause it's extremely campy and dated.
I wanted to keep the sort of medieval vibe, but make him far less clunky and more regal.
after a conversation with classmate, I have come up with my three favourite Batman villains.
I could make the argument that these are my favourite DC villains, but that would probably involve another conversation first.
Granted, as anyone who knows me knows, I'm not a Batman fan, and to extent a DC fan.
I like it just fine, sure, but we all know I'm a marvel boy at heart.
Anyway, these would be the three that I want to be the villains of a batman movie. Then I might actually care.
